Built for here

Done the way this ground demands.

Concrete around here lives a hard life — clay under it, freeze-thaw above it, and salt every winter. Flatwork that lasts starts with what's under the pour: excavation, base and drainage matter as much as the finish. That's the same lesson as our wall and patio work, applied to a driveway.

We handle the practical concrete a property needs — drives, walks, pads and approaches — and because we also do demolition and grading, replacing a broken drive is one crew start to finish: out, prepped, poured.

Straight answers

Concrete & Driveways questions.

Anything else — ask on the walk-through. You'll get the same straight answer either way.

Repair or replace my driveway?

Depends on what's failing. Surface spalling is cosmetic; deep cracks and heaving usually mean the base under it has moved, and patches won't hold. We'll look for free and tell you which one you're dealing with.

Why does concrete crack here?

Kentucky clay moves with moisture and freezes hard — concrete on a poor base goes along for the ride. Control joints manage where hairline cracking happens; proper base keeps the slab from breaking its back.

How long before I can use a new drive?

You'll get cure times with your project — foot traffic comes back quickly, vehicles wait several days. We'll set expectations before we pour, not after.
